It is our aim to provide tailored funeral services primarily within Huddersfield, Wakefield, Barnsley and surrounding areas.

We try to make our services as personal as possible, encouraging face to face contact and direct telephone conversations. This personal approach allows us to communicate more effectively, enabling us to arrange a funeral to suit the requirements of the deceased and their family.

Chapel of Rest

A place of tranquility

Our Chapel of Rest on Radcliffe Street, Skelmanthorpe is extremely private in terms of its location. Situated in a quiet, rural area with modest gardens to the front, this eighteenth century building provides tranquillity for visitors and those at rest.

Inside the Chapel, visitors can take a moment in our reception room. This room enables visitors to gather thoughts and talk to family, providing relief at an incredibly stressful time.

We consistently strive to improve the appearance of our Chapel to make visitors feel as comfortable as possible within the surroundings and under the circumstances.

Vehicles

The fleet of Volvos

There are two fleets we use regularly for transport to the funeral location. One of these is a fleet of Volvo limousines and hearse. The other is a fleet of Saab vehicles. Both are equally as elegant as each other. We also offer horse drawn hearses by request.

Alternative transport arrangements can be made with us. Our tailored funerals attempt to cater for all requirements, and this includes transport arrangements.
